Shibina Azeez

I am a Rehabilitation Psychologist working with children, adolescents, and adults who are struggling with emotional, behavioural, and psychological difficulties. In my work, I commonly support individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, stress, trauma-related concerns, and adjustment difficulties. I also work closely in child and adolescent settings, including behavioral concerns, emotional regulation, and developmental challenges, as well as in rehabilitation contexts related to substance use. My approach is structured, evidence-based, and practical. I use methods such as behavior therapy, cognitive training, and trauma-informed care, depending on the client’s needs and readiness. I believe therapy should be a safe, non-judgmental space where concerns are explored at a pace that feels manageable and respectful. As a certified sex education trainer, I place strong importance on accurate information, emotional safety, and healthy boundaries while addressing sensitive topics. Clients can expect sessions with me to be clear, supportive, and grounded in psychological understanding rather than advice or assumptions. I work in both English and Malayalam, and I believe that mental health support should be accessible, respectful, and tailored to each individual’s context.
